The well-textured shades are in harmony and don’t overpower each other. The rich-creamy formula sticks to your lids pretty well and, it’s such a pleasure to use. Maybelline New York Burgundy Eye Palette: Swatches
Maybelline has not revealed the name of each shade but, we will try to explain them to you. The top row has shades of bronze and beige. They seem to be on the cooler or neutral side and are perfect to create warm looks. You will find two matte shades in this row – the ivory and taupe.
The bottom row has deeper hues of purple/velvet with one dark brown matte shade to define the outer crease of your eyes. Having said all that, don’t hold back, grab your brushes, and let’s get started with the looks.

Look #1: Warmed-Tone Eyeshadow Makeup
- Use a primer over your eyes for easy blending and long-lasting makeup.
- Don’t ever skip concealers. Use a concealer to cover dark circles, under-eye patches, or pigmentation.
- Now, using a real technique eyeshadow brush, apply the red-tone (second colour from the bottom row) over your eyelids to create a warm and sultry base.
- To brighten up the look, use golden shade (either fourth one from the top row or the first one from the bottom row) on the inner corners of your eye.

- Pick the matte dark brown shade from the palette and dust it on your eye-lids as a base. The matte textured base makes it easy to blend other shades over the top.
- Use a black eyeliner pencil to draw fairly thin crease along your waterline, outer corners, and upper lashline.
- Grab your smudger brush and diffuse the liner by slowly buffing it. Don’t blend it too intensely and try to be as close as you can be to the waterline.
- Using a fluffy brush, dust the Burgundy shade (a mixture of the second one and the fifth one from the bottom row) all over your lids.
- Apply the same colour to your lower lashline for a better finish and definition.
